Reflections and Insights on Columbus Day/Feast of Our Lady of Fátima

Today is the 2nd day of Sukkot. Gauging by the phase of the moon, it seems later in the month that it usually would, but yet this accounting is according to the "authorized" sighting of the moon and the Lord has certainly confirmed this schedule with signs.

Today is the Feast of Our Lady of Fátima on the liturgical calendar of the mother church of Mystery Babylon. The Vatican made a really big deal about it last year, but this year, instead of honoring the goddess of the Marian apparition by name, the news reveals how she is being honored by a demonstration of her work of drawing and unifying.

Family synod: mid-term report is hailed as a ‘pastoral earthquake’ (Catholic Herald) -
The document, known as a relatio post disceptationem, received applause when it was read aloud in the synod hall after a week of discussions, due to continue this week. It does not contain any decisions but offers a significant idea of the gathering’s direction of travel. Some Vatican observers said its change in tone on homosexuality and cohabitation was remarkable.

One of the statements made in the relatio reads: “Homosexuals have gifts and qualities to offer the Christian community: are we capable of welcoming these people, guaranteeing to them a further space in our communities? Often they wish to encounter a Church that offers them a welcoming home.”

Welcoming the homosexual and the divorced, the leadership of that church is waving the marketing wands to change the public's perception of the brand, from the traditional cold and exclusive ways of condemning what it has declared sinful to an inclusive modern way of warmly welcoming. Mary, Queen of All, and her devoted servants are prepping for a Hail Mary, for the big score they are betting will be the game winner. All the world will be brought under one broadly inclusive banner for when the Pope baptizes their champion. (The Sign for the Bride)

Concerning homosexuality, the Vatican's record of hypocrisy is legend. Now, the priesthood that is practically a byword for homosexuality and pedophelia is coming to openly establish themselves as those whom the Apostle Paul declared by revelation are worthy of death. Have you read Romans chapter 1 lately? Homosexuality is connected to the root of idolatry.

and although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also give hearty approval to those who practice them. ~ Romans 1:32

The days of the Lord's mercy for those who rebel against Him are quickly passing away. He has appointed an end to the bondage of sin and death, as sin and death will also pass away. It comes right on schedule.

The Feast of Our Lady of Fátima will be celebrated by some by watching the premier of Jane the Virgin on the CW network tonight.

Have you read the post on that? Two posts were published on this past weekly Shabbat. Just after the 2nd one had been posted, the Lord emphasized to me how they were for special punctuation, as an exclamation mark. If you looked at the structure on the blog, where both appeared together on the same page because they were published on the same day, they formed an exclamation mark. A Bang. It's one very long post and one very short, right below it. The Lord had made it very plain earlier in the day that something special was going on. Aaron had received the prophetic word in a distinctly marked way, at the very same time I had a marked anointing while writing my post. After the special anointing passed, I went straight downstairs to talk to Aaron, and he had recorded what the Lord had given him, and had then read my draft in the blogger queue. We noted how the Lord had us in complete harmony.

Did you notice that really long image on the left. It is what you probably think it is. It's an image of that day's published posts, to scale, with each outlined in red to highlight the form of an exclamation mark. What's that? I'm glad you asked!Yes, I did make that from many smaller images. And, yes, it did take me a fair bit of time and effort. The punctuation wasn't my idea.

Today is also Columbus Day in the US. I read an article that really speaks loudly to me about this country's heritage.

How a Total Lunar Eclipse Saved Christopher Columbus

Christopher Columbus had a crew of thieves and murderers. He was a liar and trickster who used his knowledge of astronomical events to manipulate the indigenous Arawak community in a selfish scam - in the name of his god of the Papal religion. He is the namesake of the Federal district of the USA, the District of Columbia. Given the behavior of those who sit in that seat of power, it just seems so fitting.

Look around you and see the world as it is, like a leaning house of cards held together with spittle and a favorable breeze. If you are delaying giving heed to what the Lord has put in your spirit to do, you are resisting the spirit and in sin. You are presuming upon the Lord's mercy. Are you betting you'll be around for some time to come, and meanwhile looking around for some kind of sign before you finally act upon what you know must be done? I know the routine. Aaron and I, we know the routine. Read the word that Aaron received. We take this very seriously.
